About Running Bare
It seems a long time since 2003 when a friend and I were travelling through Australia. After months
of grubby youth hostels and a lack of any type of wholesome activity, we developed an unusual
craving for fresh air and exercise and took ourselves into Sydney to buy some sports clothes.
It was here that we stumbled across Running Bare. We loved it so much that we wanted
to take the whole shop back with us home to the UK. So we did. And we opened our
first store in Putney, the heart of London’s Australian’s community, in 2004.
We have come a long way (in every way) since then. We opened a couple
more stores to spread the Running Bare secret and as we did, we realised
that women all over UK were looking for great looking sports clothes
that didn’t compromise performance or style. And this is how
www.runningbare.co.uk was born.
Our attitude to health and keeping fit hasn’t changed. Today, we go to
every length to seek out the best sports products that can help you run
faster, workout more often and do both with confidence.
